This article... well, it pretty much sums up how out of touch, how crazy the catholic church is. How come it is so easy to minipulate people, how easy it is to scare people so much into believing things that would make them do crazy things?
A 9 year old that has been raped by her step father should ALWAYS BE ALLOWED, and in my personal opinion, encouraged to get an abortion. Without question, without argueing, without thoughts. The CHILD is neither old enough, mentally, intelluctally, or physically for child birth and raising a child. It is disgusting that the church puts an unborn person ahead of the poor child that would have to live with this for the rest of her life. I could not even begin to imagine how this child, or her family would feel.
I hope that the family, and the poor doctors that are mixed up with this, have a good life and are able to live happily with their decisions, knowing they were the correct ones.
